PORTUGAL

I decided to take my first solo backpacking trip to Portugal. I had traveled alone before, but had always met up with a group of strangers. I was never completely by myself. This was my first completely solo trip- it was incredible. I began in Porto, then backpacked down the coast to Lisbon, eventually making my way to Lagos in the Algarve region. Here, I went cave kayaking where the sun hit the water and it shined like stars.
