MOROCCO

While studying in Madrid, I took a long weekend trip to Morocco. I spent Thursday through Saturday in a van, traveling across the country, though the Atlas mountains and sand dunes. The last day of my desert safari, we arrived at the edge of the desert, climbed onto camels, and rode off into the dunes while the sun set. That night, we slept under the stars and heavy camel blankets. I have never seen and touched sand quite like this, and have never looked up at stars that shined quite like they did here.
